3 Ways to Incorporate Glitter Into Your Beauty Routine

Can you ever have too much glitter? The answer should be a resounding “No!”

While trends come and go throughout the years, glitter is one of those things that has earned its right to be considered a "classic." It never goes out of style.

However, too many adults believe that glitter should have been left behind in their childhood days while, in reality, that couldn't be further from the truth. By finding ways to include a little shimmer in your everyday style, you can have all the benefits of glitter while still looking chic and sophisticated.

The easiest way to start to bring a little more light to your life is by looking for beauty products that include a little sparkle. To help you out, here are three ways to incorporate glitter into your beauty routine.

    1. Your nails

The easiest way to start wearing more glitter is by switching up your nail polish. Glitter nail polish has been around for years and is beloved by women all over the world. That being said, many adults shy away from wearing glitter nail polish as they are unsure of how to wear it in a sophisticated and adult way.

One way to solve that dilemma is to use glitter polish to paint a geometric shape on your nails and keep the rest of the nail a solid base color. This means that you aren't making the entire nail shimmery but are still giving it a pop of bling.

Similarly, you can opt only to put glitter at the base of the nail for a pared-down look.

Alternatively, if you want to cover the whole nail, start with a base color and then layer different-sized glitter on top of one another.

    2. Your hair

No matter what the season, there is nothing more festive than donning some glitter in your hair.

When looking for the right sparkle for hair, it is important to consider what your daily outfits and makeup are usually like and then find a way to make them all work together.

You can start by wearing some sparkly hair charms or other types of hair jewelry that will give you a taste of the beauty of sparkling hair. To raise the glitter bar even more, look into glitter hair tattoos or glitter hairspray that will have you glowing in every room you appear.

For the ultimate in glimmering locks, head to the best hair salon in Dubai (or wherever you reside) and ask for hair sparkle. These very fine strands of polyester fiber are available in a wide variety of colors and sparkles and are attached to the root of your hair by miniature, invisible knots. As long as you look after them, these sparkly strands can keep their shimmer going for up to three weeks.

    3. Your eyelids

When it comes to including glitter in your makeup routine, you have plenty of options for where to put it and how much of an impact you want it to make.

Generally, the most common way to include some sparkle on your face is by wearing it on your eyelids. First, apply an eyeshadow primer to your lid to ensure the glitter will stick, and then add a very fine and lightweight glitter top coat. Depending on how obvious you want the glitter to be, look for a more or less intense formula to ensure you get the finish you want.

For a more subtle look, only add glitter to the inner corner of your eye. To do this, start by creating your everyday eye look, and then use a glitter eyeliner to produce a subtle accent of glitter. Alternatively, add the glitter to your lower lash line or where you would usually apply your eyeliner. This can quickly elevate an otherwise natural look.
