    How To Prepare A Meal With Seafood

    Food Ingredients will share a recipe with you that is certainly not common in many countries since the seafood is harder to find (if so, by it frozen), but there are definitely many people that are fond of fish and seafood.

    If so and I would like to recommend an interesting way that you can pasta preparations for a special occasion, for a loved one, to surprise guests or just for yourself.

    In this seafood recipe you will need to use shells.
    As it was mentioned shells can be found frozen and cleaned in almost all major supermarkets throughout the whole year. But in the summer period they can often be found fresh. If you find fresh shells and not know how to clean and prepare them, do not hesitate to buy them.

    Let's start with the preparation
    • Heat salted water in a pot and when it starts to boil put the spaghetti.
    • In the meantime, until the water is heated clean the shells.
    • First manually remove the part of the shell which comes out of the shell between the two ends. Just gently pull up and remove. Repeat this with all the shells.
    • Then using a sponge start to clean the top and wash with cold water. Be careful not to break them because they are very sensitive.
    • Once you are done with the clean, the preparation process can begin immediately.
    • In a pot, first put chopped onion and garlic (amount depends on you and your taste) and cook them in olive oil for a few minutes until they start to change the color.
    • Add the shells, stir carefully and add white wine and small sherry tomatoes. If you do not have sherry tomatoes, you can use normal sized tomatoes and chop them into small pieces.
    • Cover it with a lid and let it cook for about 3-5 minutes until the shells open. No need to put salt here because the shells are quite salty, so what you need to do is first taste the mixture, and if you think that they need to be salted, then add salt.
    • Once the shells open into the mixture add the cooked spaghetti. Make sure you buy quality pasta with a good taste.

    When you are done, mix the ingredients together for about 2-3 minutes until the spaghetti absorb the flavor of the sauce. And that is all. You have an incredibly tasty meal that is now ready to be served.

    This recipe is really quite tasty but also easy to prepare, especially in the summer days when there is no need for heavy meals and sauces.

    If you do not like tomatoes or are allergic to them, then instead of tomato sauce with wine, add half orange. The taste of the food will be fantastic. Optionally you can add olives. Make it according to your taste, there are lots of things you can add.
